Friday May 2 - Dinner Gathering at the Laux House |
The Disney Deads started the weekend by getting together for a group dinner. Coming in on Friday were Bart Ooms (all the way from Belgium), Mark and Ellen Druckenmiller and Dave and Eileen Lawrence. After a long day of traveling Alvaro Moreno finally made it in from Panama meeting up with Adam Rojas from Atlanta. (Amazingly Stan, Shiela and Julie also reappeared at dinner this year as well!) |
Bart and Tom meet former world class runner Henry Rono at the expo. In 1978 Rono set world records in the 10,000m, 5,000m and 3000m steeplechase in a 3 month period. |

Monday May 5 - Last Day in Cincinnati and Reds-Cubbies Game |
Saturday morning brought rain and wind for the 10K race. Colleen and Mo braved the weather to race on Saturday so they could support the marathoners on Sunday. |
